“In the digital world what cannot be copied acquires value.” Kevin Kelly – WIRED
Following this logic emcee-writer RQM paired up with street artist REMED to give a unique touch to a limited edition run of 84 7″ records containing his newest release entitled COLORS FADE which features productions from SIRIUSMO and CLP’s CHRIS DE LUCA . The punchline: REMED turned 84 7″ individual pieces into a single painting/puzzle outlining the entire life span of a relationship – the story was inspired by the song COLORS FADE.
The idea behind this project was to take the concept of “limited edition” literally to create something very unique and affordable for the fans. By pushing the bulk of the production costs onto CARHARTT RQM was able to cut the price of the package which includes a REMED hand painted cover, the COLORS FADE 7″ record and a CARHARTT limited edition tshirt designed by REMED from 80 Euros to 24.95.
“This is a very important release for me – it marks a period of musical independence so I wanted to celebrate it with something very special and essentially give my fans a real gift. REMED is one of my favorite artists and I respect the brother for the soul he injects into his paintings so a collab was a natural movement. ” RQM
The two song release is an extract from the COLORS FADE EP, which will drop on the JUNO DOWNLOAD portal via RQM’s BABY SUMO RECORDS from February 13th – it includes tracks produced by the GLUE KIDS , SIRIUSMO, CHRIS DE LUCA, SON OF KICK and JF.

His latest release entitled COLORS FADE will drop on February 13th – it features productions from Siriusmo, Chris De Luca of CLP, The Glue KIds, JF and Son Of Kick.
REMED BIO
In the Street Art world REMED is a name to reckon with. The French born-Madrid based artist has earned his stripes both legally and illegally by shuttling his unique style between wall and canvas, while reinventing it with every single brush stroke and spray can exhaust. And despite the fact that art curators from New York, London, Paris, Madrid and Sao Paulo are always hungry to snatch up his work for their exhibits and personal collections REMED’s main body of work stays on the street where it flourishes freely.
