Alejandra studied painting at the Rhode Island School of Design and subsequently received a master’s degree in photography from the School of Visual Arts. She won the prestigious Descubrimientos Award at Photo Espana for her Photo Sculptures series, which will be exhibited in Madrid during the 2010 festival.
