Words Become Images begins with an empty page. It relies on you to supply the words and to be the inspiration behind the images.
The concept of this site is simple: you supply the words and Masood Kamandy will create the images. The images he makes in response to your words will be still and moving; single images and series. Words Become Images is a project conceived in the spirit of collaboration. This site is an invitation to all people from all backgrounds to participate in the image-making process. It comes from the desire to connect and have creative conversations with people around the world.

Masood Kamandy is a photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. He is a graduate of The School of Visual Arts and the recipient of honors from Photo District News, The Art Director’s Club, and the American Photography competition. A portfolio of video production, photo editing and design is available upon request.
